Special Education Needs Teacher
The Russett Learning Trust and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about teaching pupils and young people with complex needs.
The Russett School is an all aged (2 – 19) special academy providing outstanding education for pupils and young people with, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Difficulties and Complex Needs. We are looking for candidates who are committed to the vision and values of the school.

It is anticipated that the successful candidates will be able to deliver outstanding teaching, bringing high expectations of behaviour and attainment. The Russett School & The Russett Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Child safer recruitment procedures operate and all offers of employment are subject to references and an Enhanced DBS check for all applicants.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are ‘spent’ unless ‘protected’ under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
Salary: Main Pay Scale + SEN Allowance: ECT welcome to apply

Contract: Temporary
Work Pattern: Full time – 5 days per week
DBS Check: Enhanced
