Alumni Team

This is the first edition of The Russett School Alumni Newsletter. I'm Helen Roberts and I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all in 2023.

The first meeting that we had in the summer of 2022 was a great success and it was amazing to see so many confident past students wanting to attend. We are working hard with our alumni to bring about a range of exciting events.              The latest meet up, was held on the 17th March in The Orchard at The Russett School, the group discussed how they would like the alumni group to move forward. Suggestions were made to go bowling, or meet for lunch! It was decided that they would like to meet up and have lunch.

It was agreed that our next meet up would take place at The Hub in Weaverham, times and dates will follow shortly.

If you want to be part of this exciting alumni group please get in touch either by facebook, email (admin@russett.cheshire,sch.uk) or phone (01606 853005).

What's your Russett School alumni story?

Share your story - We'd love to hear your memories and achievements.                                                                                          For our first edition we'd like to share Zoe's story!

Zoe, according to her mum, had the best time of her life at The Russett. Zoe will proudly tell you that she was headgirl, she took part in the fashion show and was a leading actor in the pantos. Zoe also remembers her time spent with friends, some of whom she is still in contact with today.

Zoe transitioned from The Russett to Pettypool College, where she spent three happy years. Currently she attends Mid-Cheshire College and as part of her course she works in the library cafe. Her social life keeps her very busy and active, she attends Multi-Sports weekly, and loves to throw some shapes at the local disco each week.
