GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR)
As of 25th May 2018, the GDPR replaced the Data Protection Act 1998. The GDPR forms part of the data protection regime in the UK, together with the new Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). The GDPR means the way in which organisations, including academies, manage data and information has changed.
The academy’s Data Guardian is Mrs E Leach (Executive Head teacher). The data guardian ensures compliance with the new regulations. Please refer to the documents listed below:
